Carbon-based molecules have many structures

writing and some picture

Organic compounds are based on carbon.

Inorganic compound a compound that is not considered organic. all compounds that do not contain carbon are inorganic, as are some types of carbon-containig compounds.

Building blocks of life:

They are 4 building blocks of life, carbohydrate, liquids, proteins and nucleic acids.

Carbohydrate: a types of carbon-based molecule in living things.

For example: sugar, pasta, rise and other aliments.

Lipids: a type of carbon-based molecule in living things. lipids include fats and oils used for energy or as structural materials.

For example: the ice cream, a cake and other things.

Protein: a macromolecule in living things that is made of smaller molecules called amino acids.

For example: beef, chicken, milk, cereals, spaghetti and others.

nucleic acid: one of several carbon-based molecules that carry an organism’s genetic code.

For example: DNA ,RNA,cloning vector and other that I don’t know.

Metal alloys

Poetry and letter

Alloy

Is brining

like the silve and gold

have the same

mixture

but always are canbined

and usually is a metals.

For example:

  • Brass
  • Bronze
  • Stainless steel
  • Carbon steel
  • Pewter

Solutions can be acidic, basic, or neutral

Information and pictures

Many solutions have certain properties that makes us call them acids or bases. Acids is more esay to found you can foound acid in many foods, such as orange juice, tomatoes, and vinegar.Based are also found in common products around the home, including soap, ammonia, and antacids.

Acid can be defined as a substance that can donate a hydrogen ion-that is, a proton-to another substance.

Base can be defined as a substance that can accept a hydrogen ion from another substance.

The acidity of a solution depends on the concentration of h+ ions in the solution. This concentration is often measured on the PH scale.A neutral substance is neither an acid nor a base.

The amount of solute that dissolves can vary

newspaper article

march 10/3/10

New discovery Dalton sanguine discover a new thing, he discovered what is concentration, diluted , saturated, unsaturated and supersaturated solubility.

he say that a concentration depends on the amount of solute dissolved in a solvent at a particular temperature.he say that a solution with only a small amount of dissolved solute, such as the salt dissolved, the concentration gets higher.

a dilute is something having a low concentration of solute.

Saturated solution because it contains the maximum amount of solute that can be dissolved in the solvent at a given temperature. If a solution contains less solute that this maximum amount, it is an unsaturated solution.

supersaturated solutions sometimes, a solution contains more dissolved solute than is normally possible. this  types of solution is said to be supersaturated.

unsaturated is doesn’t have any solution or dissolve that don’t have any solute.

solubility of a substance is the amount of that substance that will dissolve in a certain amount of solvent at a given temperature.

  • If the solute is highly soluble, a saturated solution will be very concentrated.
  • If the solute has a low solubility, the saturated solution will be dilute.

The solubility of a solute can be changed in two ways. Raising the temperature is one way to change the solubility of the solute.

A change in pressure does not usually change the solubility of solid or liquid solutes. however, the solubility of any gas increases at higher pressures and decreases at lower pressures.Because  water is polar and oil is nonpolar, their molecules are not attracted to each other.

A solution is a type of mixture

Poetry: free verse

solution

 when you mix one

element to other

these give you

a solution and this

have a result.

Solute

when you put a solute

maybe is ready the mix

but they need

something else to have

a solution.

solvet

is neccesary to

the solute

is more essay to

find

work to solute whatever

thing.

suspension

they are mix

but apparently

something dosen’t work

the particles

not be dissolven

there is in the mix.

properties of solvents change in solutions

in every solutioon- solid, liquid, and gas- solutes change the physical properties of a solvent. the amount of solute in the solution determines how much the physical properties of the solvent are changed.

Life and industry depend on chemical reactions.

Dialogue between two people

 Jacob: hi who are you?

william: hey, find and you?

jacob: find. Hey you know what is respiration?

william: well living cells obtain energy from glucose molecules through the process of respiration, which is the “combustion” of glucose to obtain energy.

jacob: oh.. I don’t know what are you talking about but yeah what ever you say.

jacob: I read this article in a magazine the title was chemical reactions are used in technology. what do you thing about this?

william: the series of chemical reactions in respiration involves enzymes, which are catalysts. every time someone drives a car, another combustion reaction occurs the combustion of gasoline.

jacob: ohhh is another about the industry uses chemical reactions to make useful products.

william: ohhh I read that article is about that no area of science and technology has changed today’s society as much as the electronics industry has and they say that the most common semiconductor material is the element silicon.

jacob: oh yeah!!

william: well Jacob i need to go so  see you tomorrow

jacob: see you too

Chemical reactions involve energy charges

Letter from a scientist

hello, yunezzi how are you? how is you life? remenber the question that you ask me the last time. About the bond energy,  exothermic reaction, endothermic reaction.

well i am doing research about that question and i foud that:

chemical reaction involve breaking  bonds in reactants and forming new bonds in products. the energy associated with bonds is called bond energy.

Exothermic reaction : is a chemical reaction that releases energy.

For example: the coral polysps or the fish, spuid, jellyfish and shrimp.

Endothermic reaction: is a chemical reaction that absords energy.

for example: when the electric current is turned off, the reaction stops.

I thing thats all you gonna know . I let you some pictures

Chemical reactions alter arrangements of atoms.

Pictures with reports

Chemical reaction: produces new substances by changing the way in which atoms are arranged.

Physical changes: a change in the state of a substance is an example of a physical change. the substance may have some different properties after a physical change, but it is still the same substance.

Chemical changes: a changes of onee substance into another substance.

Reactants and products:

Reactants are the substance present at the beginning of a chemical reaction.

Products are the substances formed by a chemical reaction.

During a chemical reaction, bonds between atoms in the reactants are broken and new bonds are formed in the products.

Evidence of chemical reactions:

color change substances often change color during a chemical reaction.

formation of a precipitate many chemical reaction form roducts that exist in a different physical sate from the reactants.

formation of a gas chemical reactions may produce a gas, like that often formed when antacid pills are mixed with excess stomach acid.

temperature change most chemical reactions involve a temperature change. sometimes this change can be inferred from the observation of a flame, as in the burning of the metal magnesium in the photograph.

Chemical reactions can be classified

Synthesis in a synthesis reaction, a new compound is formed by the combination of simple reactants.

Decomposition in a decomposition reaction, a reactant breaks down into simple products.

Combustion in a combustion reaction, one reactant is always oxygen and another reactant often contains carbon and hydrogen.

Concentration measures the number of particles present in a certain volume. A high concentration of reactants means that there is a large number of particles that can collide and react.

Surface area suppose one of the reactants in a chemical reaction is present as a single large piiece of material.

temperature the rate of a reaction can be increased by making the particles move faster. the most common way to make the particles move faster is to add energy to the reactants, which will raise their temperature.

Catalyst:

the rate of a reaction can be changed chemically by adding a catalyst.

A catalyst is a substance that increases the rate of a chemical reaction but is not itself consumed in the reaction.

In living things, catalysts called enzymes are absolutely necessary for life.
